Thanks to our partners, Event Cinemas, movie ticket holders will be able to donate to the Channel Nine Telethon during November, to help the Children’s Hospital Foundation bring laughs and smiles to sick kids in hospital.
From Wednesday 1 until Saturday 18 November, movie guests will have the option to donate $2 from their online ticket purchase to the Channel Nine Telethon, a state-wide appeal harnessing the generous spirit of Queenslanders for a very special cause – our kids. Together we’ve raised over $34 million over the past three years and with the help of Event Cinemas and movie guests, we’re hoping to raise an incredible $11 million this year.
To show your support, add your donation in the online check out items windows at cinemas across Queensland (excluding Event Cinemas Cairns and Moonlight Cinemas).
Keep an eye out for our little kids on the big screen before the movie as well, and see how the Children’s Hospital Foundation will invest your generous online donation to fund research, purchase vital medical equipment and provide comfort and support services for families.
