TODAY Show’s Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys and The Block’s Shelley Craft will return home to Queensland to co-host the 2018 Nine Telethon, alongside Today Extra’s David Campbell, on Saturday, November 17, at 7.00pm.

“It is so exciting for me to be able to plant my feet back in Queensland to support such a deserving cause again. Last year we raised a mammoth $12,230,565 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and I can’t wait to continue on this incredible effort to help sick kids in Queensland,” Sylvia Jeffreys said.

Co-host Karl Stefanovic is asking his fellow Queenslanders across the state to dig deep for such an important cause.

“I am looking forward to coming home. The 2018 Nine Telethon is going to be an amazing night full of performances, beautiful stories, challenges and phone panel fun. I urge all Queenslanders to get behind the Telethon, do it for the kids,” he said.

Shelley Craft said: “This year’s Telethon will go above and beyond. I am thrilled to be involved in one big party to raise funds for children in need. Some of the music acts announced, such as Samantha Jade, are going to be amazing, so make sure you tune in and dig deep for the kids, Queensland.”

Now in its fifth year, the Nine Telethon has raised over $46 million for the Children’s Hospital Foundation thanks to the generosity of our partners and supporters. Funds raised from the 2018 Nine Telethon will continue to go towards research, services and equipment for the sick children of Queensland.
