Samantha Jade is set to add a touch of magic to the 2018 Channel Nine Telethon
Pop sensation Samantha Jade will headline the 2018 Nine Telethon on Saturday, November 17, at 7.00pm on Nine and 9Now.
Joining Samantha in the Telethon to raise funds for Queensland’s sick kids will be Glenn Shorrock, performing the 70s classic A Little Ray of Sunshine and another rock-pop favourite, Help Is On Its Way.
Luke Kennedy, a runner-up in The Voice, will also be on stage, performing This Is Me from the 2018 Golden Globe-winning movie, The Greatest Showman. He’ll be backed by a 30-strong children’s choir from the Vocal Manoeuvres Academy, featuring Alexa Curtis, the winner of The Voice Kids.
The Potbelleez will grace the stage too, with their single Don’t Hold Back, and Aussie duo Busby Marou will belt out their hit, Best Part of Me.
The Nine Telethon is one of Queensland’s most exciting nights of the year, as music greats, Nine Network talent, TV personalities, actors and stars gather in the Sunshine State to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
ARIA Award winner Samantha Jade is ready to sing her heart out to make Queenslanders watching at home dig deep for the kids.
“I am honoured to be performing at the 2018 Nine Telethon, I couldn’t think of a better cause. November 17 is going to be one big party full of amazing acts and performances,” she said.
Samantha Jade’s new album, The Magic of Christmas is out now.
