Groovy music acts will make you feel like giving
Music great Leo Sayer, Aussie new wave band Pseudo Echo, The Voice 2017 winner Judah Kelly, singing sensation Dami Im and rock band Dragon will headline the Channel Nine Telethon on Saturday, November 18, at 7.00pm.
The Channel Nine Telethon is one of Queensland’s most anticipated nights of the year, as TV personalities, actors and stars swarm to the Sunshine State to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation – and this year’s line-up of performers will wow viewers.
The party atmosphere will be in full swing as the anticipated performers go retro, mirroring the “old school style” theme of this year’s Telethon. Dami Im is ready to turn up the fun and the volume for both kids and parents.
“I am delighted to be performing at Channel Nine’s Telethon. The Children’s Hospital Foundation is such a beautiful and well-deserving cause, and I cannot wait to dance around on stage and get involved in all the fun,” Dami said.
Leo Sayer, a Grammy Award winner with the disco hit You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, says he’s ready to boogie.
“It’s really important to dig deep for the kids, and I am ecstatic that I get to assist in making that happen. Channel Nine’s Telethon is going to be one big party for an important cause – I can’t wait,” Leo said.
Judah Kelly, the proud young Queenslander who won The Voice Australia 2017, is also making a special appearance. Judah will bring his acoustic “country soul” style music to the stage and will be performing his number one1 iTunes single Count on Me, while Pseudo Echo will play hits from their debut gold album, Autumnal Park, and the platinum seller, Love an Adventure.
