Have a question?
We’ve answered some of the most common questions about Telethon below.
When is the Nine Telethon?
Tune in on Saturday 26 April–the day Nine Telethon supporting Mater Little Miracles will return to your screens and to your heart.
Where do the funds go?
At Mater, every baby born and cared for is affectionately known as a ‘little miracle’, however each year more than 1,700+ babies are born very ill or premature, which need round the clock care from a range of medical specialists.
Through the Nine Telethon, with the support of the community and the support of Channel Nine, Mater aims to raise critical funds towards life-saving research, care and equipment, ensuring all babies at Mater have the best possible start to life.
With the help of donations from the community, Mater clinicians and researchers can continue to improve outcomes for our tiniest and most vulnerable patients.
What is Mater Foundation?
Mater Foundation is a community-based fundraising organisation that supports the work of Mater Health, Mater Education and Mater Research.
